Hope House, a children's respite care center in Union City, is a nonprofit facility. Both Hope House and the Southwest Christian Hospice depend solely on donations and gifts from individuals, churches, businesses, civic groups and foundations.

Georgia Lungaro, a volunteer at Hope House, is holding a craft fair/yard sale at her home in Fayetteville. Money raised with a bake sale and a drawing at the craft fair will go to both Hope House and Camp High Hopes, a grief counseling camp for children. Hope House also receives donations from Born Again Bargains, a thrift store in Fairburn.

Hope House features eight children's rooms and 12 beds and cribs, hydrotherapy beds, an activity room, overnight accommodations for families, common areas, a chapel, a garden and outdoor area, quiet rooms for counseling and a library and information center. Their purpose is to provide quality respite care and support for families with children who have special health needs, through physical, emotional, social, and spiritual service.

The craft fair/yard sale will take place Saturday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Lungaro's house is at 507 Ginger Cake Road. Phone 770-461-5055 for more information. Hope House always needs volunteers.
