Wedding Announcements
Segraves-Grile
Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Bradley Segraves of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Alison, to Lucas Christopher Grile, son of Ms. Tina Anderson Grile of Athens and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Claude Grile of Savannah.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Leon Norris of Griffin and Mrs. Betty Watts Segraves and the late Charles Bradley Segraves, also of Griffin. A Fayette County High School graduate, she is employed by Radiation Oncology Services, Inc., and plans to attend Grady Hospital’s radiation therapy program in the fall.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Lawrence Anderson of Titusville, Fla. and the Rev. and Mrs. Lucas Fredrick Grile of Arden, N.C. A graduate of Groves High School in Savannah, he is employed by Alan Vigil Ford, Inc., and currently attends Griffin Technical college in Griffin.
The wedding will be in May at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
After a wedding trip to the Wesley Grandview Inn and Resort in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., the couple will reside in Fayetteville.
Witmer-Humes
Mr. and Mrs. James D. Witmer of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Renee, to Steven Joseph Humes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Humes of Hooks, Texas.
The bride-to-be was graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a bachelor of music degree in music education. She currently is the assistant choral director at Starr’s Mill High School.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Covenant College, with a bachelor of music degree; New England Conservatory, Boston, with masters of vocal performance degree; and Boston University with a certificate degree. He is a professional opera singer who resides in Manhattan.
The wedding is planned for late May in Peachtree City.
Tran-Crain
Mr. and Mrs. Ty Van Tran of Acworth announce the engagement of their daughter, Vi Thuy, to Ross Garrett Crain, son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Crain of Brooks.
The bride-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Osbourne High School in Marietta. She attends Kennesaw State University and is employed as a financial analyst with HCA Health Care in Norcross.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Fayette County High School and served with the United States Army in Korea. He presently is an executive officer with the Atlanta recruiting office.
The wedding will be May 3, 2003, at St. Catherine’s of Siena in Kennesaw.
