Rodney Bruce Miller


Rodney Bruce “Rod” Miller, 36, Fayetteville, died April 1, 2003. He was born Sept. 5, 1966 in Pensacola, Fla. Services were at the First United Methodist Church, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Gary Parrish, the Rev. Jim Ellison, and the Rev. Dr. James Dorriety officiating. Interment was at Holly Hill Cemetery, Fairburn. Survivors include his wife, Christy Orr Miller, Fayetteville; children, Owen Stewart Miller and Annabelle Mae Miller, both of Fayetteville; mother and stepfather, Sue Miller and James Dorriety, Huntsville, Ala.; brother, Randy and Tara Miller, Gray, Ga.; niece, Kennady Miller, Gray, Ga.; mother and father-in-law, Jimmy and Becky Orr, Fayetteville; sister, Cindy and Will Tyler, Woodstock; and stepbrothers, Jimmy Dorriety, Orlando, Fla., and Jerry Dorriety, Macon. Paul W. Pankoff


Paul W. Pankoff, 83, Peachtree City, died April 2, 2003, after a lengthy illness. He was born Nov. 9, 1919 in Racine, Wisc. He had worked for many years at S. C. Johnson in Racine, until his retirement in 1982. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Vassh. His second wife of 46 years, Frances A. Pankoff, died January, 2003. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward Pankoff. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel, Peachtree City with the Rev. Miriam Beecher and intern Chad Langdon officiating. Survivors include sons, Paul J. Pankoff, Harrisburg, N. C., Richard and Donna Pankoff, and Robert and Linda Pankoff, all of Racine, Wisc.; a daughter, Susan and Marty Skorstad, Peachtree City; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a s sister, Helen and Marcel Gesquiere, Racine, Wisc. Donald Frederick Pass


Donald Frederick Pass, 71, Fayetteville, died April 3, 2003. He was born May 2, 1931 in Calhoun, Gordon County, Ga. He served 4 years in the United States Navy and then worked for 40 years at Delta Air Lines. He was member of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church and was actively involved in coaching Little League Baseball. Services were at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Stringham, the Rev. Howard Dial, and the Rev. Frank Ellis officiating. Survivors include his wife, Betty Carol Overton Pass, Fayetteville; children, Jan and Dean Boike, Matthews, N. C., Frank and Carol Pass, Russia, and Doug and Susan Pass, Helena, Ala.; grandchildren, Cassidy Boike, Shaina Boike, Jaclyn Pass, Rachel Pass, Luke Pass, Frances Pass, Rebekah Pass, Nathan Pass, and Mary Pass; brothers, Bill and Mary Ruth Pass, Acworth, and Dale and Shirley Pass, Marietta; and a sister, Joy and Hamp Alexander, Calhoun. Josephine Wilkins Mills


Josephine Wilkins Mills, 82, Fayetteville, died April 3, 2003. She was born April 29, 1920 in Mobile, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mason Mills Jr. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment was at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Jonesboro. Survivors include daughters, Judy Mills Gordillo, New Mexico, Lee Ellen Sanborn and Josephine Murray McElveen, both of Fayetteville, and Katherine Elizabeth Mills, Jonesboro; and grandchildren, Warner McElveen III, Thomas Gordillo, and Byron Gordillo. Terry Dale Riley


Terry Dale Riley, 53, Brooks, died April 5, 2003. He was born May 10, 1949 in Portsmouth, Ohio. Memorial services were at the Tara Garden Chapel. Survivors include his wife, Kristen Riley, Brooks; a son, James Riley, Brooks; a brother, Jerry Riley, Forest Park; and his mother, Doris Riley. Thomas L. Scoggs Tara Garden Chapel, Jonesboro, was in charge.

Margrett Julie Banks


Margrett Julie Banks, 95, Thomaston, died April 6, 2003. She was born July 19, 1907 in Fayette County, the daughter of David Columbus “Lum” and Mattie Lizzie Swan Greer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Walter “Walt” Banks. She was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Les Green officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include daughters, Julia B. Gossett, Griffin, Bernice and Richard Carr, and Patsy Jo and Les Green, all of Thomaston; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Carl J. Thelma Mary Gilder


Thelma Mary Gilder, 93, Peachtree City, died April 6, 2003. She was born June 22, 1909 in Butler County, Ohio. Services and interment were at Middletown, Ohio. Survivors include a daughter, Judith and Roy Henson, Peachtree City; a son-in-law, Bob Tindall, Middletown, Ohio; a grandson, Tim and Erica Harper Tindall, New York, N. Y.; granddaughters, Linda Henson, Tucker, Ga., Lee and Jeff McKinney, Tyrone, Ga., and Kay and John Lloyd, Peachtree City; and seven great-grandchildren. Carl J. Teddy Victor Mask


Teddy Victor Mask, 47, Fayetteville, died April 8, 2003. He was born Aug. 2, 1955 in Fulton County. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Carlton Swicegood officiating. Interment was at the Inman United Methodist Cemetery. Survivors include children, Corey and Kristy Mask, Senoia, Alex Mask and Blake Mask, both of Fayetteville, and Clancy Mask, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Ansley Mask and Gracey Mask, both of Senoia; parents, Joe and Laverne Mask, Fayetteville; a brother, Bruce and Myra Mask, Fayetteville; a sister, Judy and Brian Huth, Cartersville; and uncles and aunts, Ferrell and Betty Couch, Riverdale, and Donna and Buddy McClendon, Locust Grove. Dudley Charles Hogan


Dudley Charles Hogan, 67, Union City, died April 8, 2003. He was born Nov. 9, 1935 in Coweta County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Annie Ruth Hogan; sisters, Rozelle Freeman, and Louise Freeman, a granddaughter, Sherri Haynes and a granddaughter, Kayleigh Haynes, and a niece, Vickie Freeman. Services were at the Community Baptist Church, Fayetteville, with the Rev. L. C. Spivey officiating. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Hogan; daughters, Teresa McConighen, Marilyn Millians, Brenda Jurjevich, and Michelle Touchstone; grandsons, Jody, Jason, and Timmy; granddaughters, Theresa, Tammy, Stephanie and Kelsi; great grandsons, Daniel, Austin, and Chad; great-granddaughters, Cecily, Marissa, Brianna, Megan, and Cameron; brothers, Billy Hogan, Marvin Hogan, and Eddie Hogan; and a sister, Mary Alice Kee.
