Tennant says he'll run again Peachtree City Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem Dan Tennant announced Tuesday that he will run for a second term in November's municipal elections. Tennant was elected in 1999, defeating two other candidates without a runoff election when he captured a majority vote. "So many people have talked to me about it being best to go ahead and announce sooner rather than later," he said. "And this just seemed like the appropriate time." Tennant's seat is one of two on the council up for election this year. Annie McMenamin is retiring from council after serving for the maximum time allowed.
