Restaurant plans on Fayetteville P&Z agenda Tuesday

The Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Commission has a heavy agenda for its Tuesday night workshop meeting, including plans for an O'Charley's restaurant on Ga. Highway 85 north and a new home for the Fayette Daily News at 210 Jeff Davis Place, the former location for Pike Nurseries.

The commission will also discuss the city's comprehensive plans and several amendments to the city's zoning ordinance.

Other items on the agenda include:

Plans for RBC Centura Bank on Ga. Highway 314 and Beckett Lane;

Plans and a special exception for the McDonald's restaurant on Ga. Highway 85 south;

Plans for Summit Point on Ga. Hwys. 85 and 92 south;

A rezoning for Farrer Woods on Jeff Davis Drive from DR-15 to R-THC PUD;

Plans and two variances for the Main Street Promenade on north Glynn Street;

Plans for a sports instructional facility on Robinson Road.

The commission meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
