Police: man bilked residents through phony tree service The Fayette County Sheriff's Department is investigating a man who reportedly has bilked several residents by charging them for proposed tree services which he then fails to perform. Jerry Estes Jr. of Professional Tree Service, which allegedly runs out of Palmetto, is charged with five counts of theft by deception, said Sgt. Belinda McCastle. Sheriff's officials believe there may be other local victims of this scheme. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Tracey Carroll at 770-461-5266, ext. 1163.
