Timothy Robert O’Connor
Timothy Robert O’Connor, 41, Morrow, died March 3, 2003. He was born Feb. 23, 1962 in Alexandria, Va. He served with the United States Air Force in the Gulf War and was a systems engineer with ITC Delta Com. Services were at the Rooks Funeral Home chapel, Byron, Ga., with interment at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Macon. Survivors include his children, David O’Connor and Jessica O’Connor, Byron; parents, Robert and Vera O’Connor, Ormond Beach, Fla.; sisters, Sharon and Larry Ross, Seattle, Wash., Barbara and Richard Aldinger, and Cathy and Gordon Whitley, Ormond Beach, Fla., and Dani O’Connor, Daytona Beach, Fla.; nieces, Melissa and Marie Whitley, and Samantha Aldinger, Ormond Beach, Fla., Michelle Caudell, Daytona Beach, Fla., and Lindsey and Whitney Quirk, Byron; former wife, Vickie Moss O’Connor, Byron; and fiancée and her daughter, Karen Ratcliff and Lindsay Ratcliff, Peachtree City. Joanne D. Voight
Joanne D. Voight, 52, Peachtree City, died March 7, 2003. She was born Sept. 27, 1950 in Memphis, Tenn. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Miriam Beecher officiating. Survivors include her daughter, Heather Rawls, Peachtree City; and sisters, Judy Chastain and Jeannie Davenport, both of Jonesboro, and Janet Elkins, Memphis, Tenn. Carl J. Mary Louise Eyles
Mary Louise Eyles, 83, Fayetteville, died March 8, 2003. She was born Oct. 11, 1919 in Gilmer County, Ga. Services were at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, Jonesboro, with the Rev. Father Gregory Hartmayer officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a son, Tom and Sabrina Eyles, Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Celeste and Rusty Walker, Fayetteville; and grandchildren, John Eyles, Joseph and Fanny Eyles II, Jessie Eyles, Griffin Eyles, Nolan Eyles, Eric Walker, and Emily Walker. Joyce Greene Shaw, 73, Fayetteville, died March 9, 2003. She was born June 26, 1929 in Orange, Texas. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, North Campus. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Wendell Banks officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband, William Shaw, Fayetteville; a son, Gregory W. and Cheryl Shaw, Fayetteville; a daughter, Candace and Gordon Swaggerty, Clewiston, Fla.; grandchildren, Matthew and Drew Swaggerty, and Jonathon, Kevin, and Megan Shaw; and sisters, Doris Adams, Alabama, Annie Louise Sherman, Escatawpa, Miss., and Marjorie Ogborn, Mississippi. Ostrell James Lee
Ostrell James “OJ” “Dimer” Lee, 82, Fayetteville, died March 10, 2003. He was born May 15,1920 in Lawrenceburg, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Lucille Andrews. He grew up in Paulding County and served in the United States Army in World War II. He retired in 1973 from the General Motors Lakewood Assembly plant. He was a member of the Woolsey Baptist Church. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Ken Johns officiating. Interment was at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, Atlanta. Survivors include sons, Garry Lee, Oshkosh, Wisc., and Ted and Charlotte Lee and Wayne Lee, all of Fayetteville; and grandchildren, Damian, Jillian, Lucin, Jenny, Rachel, Terry “TJ,” Stevie, Christopher, Casey and Natalie. Bernard R. Reeder, 95, Peachtree City, died March 10, 2003. He was born April 1, 1907 in Allegheny County, Pa. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. David Campbell officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Reeder, Peachtree City; sons, David R. and Vicki Reeder, Ruckersville, Va., and Martin and Lonna J. Tyler Jack Dodson, 13, Fayetteville, died March 11, 2003. He was born July 20, 1989 in Atlanta. Services were at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Sam Matthews and the Rev. Robert Lawrence officiating. Margaret McCullough, 79, Fayetteville, died March 14, 2003. She was born Aug. 12, 1923 in Fulton County, Ga. She was a member of the Fayetteville Church of Christ and had worked for 43 years with Nabisco. Services were at the Fayetteville Church of Christ with Minister Scott Harp and Minister Forrest Chapman officiating. Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Forest Park, Ga. Survivors include her husband, Leighton G. “Mike” McCullough, Fayetteville; a son, Allen and Lynette McCullough, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Joshua McCullough, Megan McCullough, and Nicki McCullough; and an aunt, Lillie Conley, Stone Mountain, Ga. Lillian M. Bryant, 94, Fayetteville, died March 14, 2003. She was born Nov. 18, 1908 in Monroe County, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Bryant. Graveside services were at the Timberridge Presbyterian Church cemetery, McDonough, Ga., with the Rev. David Black officiating. Survivors include sons, Wayman C. and Joan Bryant, and James J. and Jane Bryant, all of Fayetteville; George W.
