AARP volunteers offer tax aid AARP volunteers will provide free tax help for both federal and Georgia tax returns. This service is available to all taxpayers in middle and low income brackets with special attention given to those 60 years and older. The United Methodist Church in Peachtree City will offer tax aid every Monday through Aril 14 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Those seeking aide are asked to bring the following documentation to help speed the tax preparation process: your 2002 federal and state tax return forms, copy of your 2001 federal and state tax returns, proof of a Social Security number for each person listed on your tax return, all W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, records of your charitable donations, interest, dividend and tax statements, etc. For other tax site locations and information call toll free 1-800-227-7669 or contact Bill Fletcher in Peachtree City at 770-487-3541.
