Association offering $500 scholarship

The Atlanta Southern Crescent Alumnae Panhellenic Association (ASCAPA) is offering one $500 scholarship to a female high school student and resident of the Southern Crescent area (defined as the counties of Fayette, Coweta, Clayton, Henry, Spalding and the cities of South Fulton county) who will attend an accredited four-year college in the fall of 2003.

The ASCAPA Scholarship Committee will select one scholarship recipient on the basis of scholastic and personal achievement, contributions to her community, and leadership potential. Recommendations will not be considered.

Completed applications must be postmarked no later than April 18, 2003, and may be obtained by calling Cele Eifert at 770-632-6417 or at ron-cele@worldnet.att.net by email.

The ASCAPA members are alumnae of the 26 sororities which make up the National Panhellenic Conference. The group is just two years old, and has over 100 members.
