Pfeifer health improving By JOHN THOMPSON jthompson@TheCitizenNews.com By the end of this month, Fayette County Commissioner Peter Pfeifer should be finished with his physical therapy. Carol Chandler, who serves as the executive assistant to the board, said Pfeifer attended a Republican Party function recently, and is well on the road to recovery. Pfeifer was hospitalized in mid-December after a crippling headache. Doctors discovered brain bleeding and treated the commissioner at Piedmont Hospital before sending him home earlier this year. Chandler did not know when Pfeifer could return to his duties as commissioner. The commission has conducted the county's business without Pfeifer since December.   What do you think of this story?
