Wednesday, March 12, 2003 SummerGrove Golf Club announces memberships and frequent player cards As springtime nears and golfers across Atlanta prepare to hit the links, the SummerGrove Golf Club unveils its membership and Frequent Player Card opportunities. Linda Hunt, head pro at SummerGrove says, "Since SummerGrove is quickly becoming one of south Atlanta's favorite golf destinations, we wanted to say thank you to SummerGrove golfers while at the same time offer special savings to frequent SummerGrove golfers." The Frequent Player Card is just $100 and entitles golfers to $5 off regular greens fee and $5 off cart before 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The card is valid from May 1, 2003 to April 30, 2004. In addition, the Golf Club is pleased to announce special membership opportunities for the residents of SummerGrove and Avery Park, both of which are developed by Pathway Communities. With a initiation fee of $300, a monthly dues fee of $75 or an annual dues fee of $825, members will be entitled to play weekdays at a $7 greens fee rate, Weekends and Holidays at a $9 greens fee rate. Cart fees are $10 per rider. SummerGrove is located at the intersection of Lower Fayetteville Road and Shenandoah Blvd. in Newnan.
