Colony Homes, Atlanta Thrashers team up for home giveaway

South Fulton residents can register to win at Sable Chase and Sable Glen

As part of their multi-year sponsorship agreement, Colony Homes, the southeast' s largest privately owned homebuilder, and the Atlanta Thrashers professional hockey team will give away a new, Colony-built home during the Thrashers' final home game of the season, April 6.

The home giveaway is a part of a Colony-Thrashers marketing agreement struck in 2001 between two of Atlanta's rapidly ascending businesses. The agreement expands Colony's opportunities to reach quality oriented, prospective homebuyers. It offers the Thrashers, through outreach programs in Colony communities, greater opportunities to attract new fans and teach them about the game of hockey.

Colony Homes, metro Atlanta's second-largest homebuilder and one of its fastest growing, is the designated "Preferred Homebuilder of the Atlanta Thrashers."

The home giveaway coincides with Thrashers Fan Appreciation Night. Prospective participants in the giveaway contest may fill out entry forms available at Thrashers games, Colony sales centers, and online at www.colonyhomes.com. Entries will be accepted through March 27. Two fans from the Thrashers audience April 6 will also be randomly selected as contest entrants. Twelve finalists will be chosen in all, with the winner selected at the hockey game.

The giveaway house, currently under construction at Colony's Deer Valley community in west Cobb County, is a Wakefield floorplan featuring three bedrooms, two-and-half baths and two-story living.

Colony Homes' corporate offices are located in Woodstock. The Colony Homes Atlanta Division is active in seven metro Atlanta counties, including Cherokee, Cobb, Douglas, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett and Paulding, representing a total of 17 active communities. Colony also builds homes in the Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina markets.
