Montague anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Richard W. Montague of Fayetteville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently. They were married Feb. 7, 1953, in Port Huron, Mich. Their four children; Maureen (Jay) Lyons of Wheaton, Ill., Cheryl (Roger) Widholm of Glen Ellyn, Ill, Mark (Sharon) Montague of Elk Grove, Ill, Judy Montague of Fayetteville, and their six grandchildren joined them in celebrating the occasion.
Charton-Gallagher
Dr. and Mrs. Frank L. Charton of Harriman, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Compton, to Logan Patrick Gallagher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terrance J. Gallagher of Tyrone.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Helen Margaret Saulsberry and the late Alfred W. Saulsberry of LaFollette, Tenn., and Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Charton of Fayetteville. She was graduated from Samford University in 1999 with a B.S. degree in history and education and received a master’s degree in education from Carson-Newman College in 2002. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. She currently lives in Knoxville, Tenn., and teaches English as a second language in Kingston, Tenn.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Watson of Meridian, Miss., and Mrs. Irene Gallagher and the late Glen G. Gallagher of St. Petersburg, Fla. He is a graduate of Sandy Creek High School and will graduate from the United States Military Academy on May 31, 2003.
The wedding will be June 7, 2003, at Whitestone Country Inn in Kingston, Tenn.
Ozinsky-Thomas
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Frank of Schroon Lake, N.Y. and Bradley Ozinsky of Syracuse, N.Y. announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Heather Elise Ozinsky, to Jason Wallace Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry D. Thomas of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Shirley Volinsky and the late Fred Ozinsky of Syracuse and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Marks of Baldwinsville, N.Y. A 1995 graduate of Chittenango High School, Chittenango, N.Y., she received her bachelor of arts in mathematics education from Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y. She currently is employed by the Fulton County School District as a middle school math teacher while she is attending graduate school at North Georgia College and State University.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thomas of Brooks and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wallace of East Point. A 1994 graduate of Fayette County High School, he received his bachelor of science in health and physical education from the University of Georgia. He currently is employed by the Fulton County School District as a physical education teacher in Alpharetta.
The wedding will be Sunday, July 20, 2003, at LaFayette Country Club in Syracuse, N.Y.
