Alleged teen gunman among four in custody for PTC armed robbery By JOHN MUNFORD Peachtree City police have arrested a Brooks teen whom they believe was the armed gunman in a holdup of the Braelinn Village convenience store on Robinson Road last Friday evening. Francis Eugene Alan Murray, 18, is charged with one felony count of armed robbery. According to police, he entered the store after 11:30 p.m., pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded the money from the cash register. Murray then fled the scene on foot. He was arrested without incident after detectives tracked him to a hotel in Griffin. Spalding County sheriff's deputies assisted in putting Murray into custody, police said. The weapon that was used in the crime has also been recovered, police said. Prior to Murray's arrest, police charged two juveniles and a 17-year-old for being a party to the crime of armed robbery. Joshua L. Ludwig, 17, was also charged with obstruction of a police officer. Ludwig lied about his location when he spoke on the phone to a detective after the incident, police said. Police are asking the juveniles to be tried as adults for their involvement in the crime, police said.
