Wedding Announcements
Bowler-Jolly
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Bowler Jr. of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Hilary Brooks Bowler, to Christian Daniel Jolly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert F. Jolly, also of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Wayne D. Hawkins of Mount Dora, Fla., and the late Wayne D. Hawkins, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Bowler of Pottsville, Pa. A 1999 graduate of McIntosh High School, she currently is a senior at Furman University in Greenville, S.C., where she is a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honor Society, and Phi Sigma Iota Language Honor Society. She will receive her degree in Spanish in May.
The groom-elect is the grandson of George H. Prothro and the late Mrs. Gladys H. Prothro of Peachtree City, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jolly of Griffin. A 1999 graduate of McIntosh High School he currently is a senior at the University of Georgia where he is a member of Di Gamma Kappa (DGK) Broadcast Society. He will receive his degree in telecommunications from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication in May.
The wedding will be in June at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church, with the Rev. John Weber of Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church officiating.
Hill-Head
Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Hill of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Cary Ellen Hill, to Chad Phillip Head, son of Mrs. Donna S. Davis and Robert A. Head, also of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E Swann of Hampton, and Mr. and Mrs. Anderson L. Hill of Jacksonville, Fla. A 2000 graduate of Landmark Christian School, she presently is attending college to obtain her license as a master cosmetologist.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harvard W. Davis of Brooks and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marvin P. Head of Fayetteville. A 1999 graduate of Fayette County High School, he currently is a lance corporal in the United States Marine Corps, stationed in North Carolina.
The couple is planning a fall wedding.
