Liberty Estates coming to Lamar

Plans have been announced for Liberty Estates, a 65-home community on McKneely Road in Lamar County near the Spalding County community of Orchard Hill.

Located near Exit 201 of Interstate 75, Liberty Estates will have single-family ranch homes on acre lots. Construction in the community was begun around 60 days ago, and six homes have already been completed. The community is projected to be sold out in late 2004.

Homes, which are currently priced at $114,000, contain 1,400 sq. ft. and will include three bedrooms and two baths. Exclusive builder is America South Builders, which has Todd Hughes as president and Doug McDonald as on-site builder.

Sales and marketing will be handled by the Griffin/Spalding County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty, which is headed by Jenifer Strauss, office manager. More information on Liberty Estates can be obtained by calling 770-227-2280.
