Women's club meets next week By CAROLYN CARY ccary@TheCitizenNews.com The ladies of the Jonesboro-Fayetteville Christian Women's Club will meet Thursday, Feb. 20, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at The Links Golf Club in Fayetteville. Sweet Inspiration, a musical group from Fayetteville, will provide a mini-concert. The trio consists of Terri Abbatt, Susan Prater and Virginia Adams. They have performed on "Stars of Tomorrow" in New York City. Food service director Vivian Eason of Snellville will be the speaker. Her theme will be "Finding the Perfect Recipe for Life." Complimentary childcare will be provided and a sack lunch should be brought for each child. The cost of the luncheon is $10.50 inclusive and all reservations should be honored. The Christian Women's Club is part of an international organization headquartered in Kansas City, Mo. It is a non-denominational organization with more than 2,000 groups in the United States and Canada. All ladies are welcome and there are no dues.
