New animal control services sought Fulton County Government will select a new animal control services vendor prior to March 20, 2003. In order to select a new vendor for these services, the county's purchasing department released a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) on January 28. The animal control service area includes unincorporated Fulton County and the cities of Alpharetta, Atlanta, East Point, Fairburn, Hapeville, Mountain Park, Palmetto, Roswell, and Union City. The purpose of the RFQ is to solicit the most qualified vendor(s) with whom the county can enter into negotiations and possibly a contractual agreement for animal control services. The one-year contract will be renewable annually for up to four additional one-year periods. Vendors interested in this RFQ should contact the Fulton County Purchasing Department, 404-730-5800.
