Samaritans still raising funds for building By CAROLYN CARY ccary@TheCitizenNews.com The Fayette Samaritans are requesting your help in their quest to build their own facility. The 11-year-old nonprofit organization is in the process of obtaining land and building a 2,400 sq. ft. facility that will give it adequate space for storing and dispensing food items and clothing. About $36,000 has been raised so far toward that effort and an additional $90,000 is needed to see it to completion. Designated donations for this fund can be sent to Fayette Samaritans, P.O. Box 1071, Fayetteville, GA 30214. It is requested that you designate "Building Fund" on the check; otherwise it must go to buy canned goods and other items. What do you think of this story?
