Genealogy workshop Sat. The General Marquis de Lafayette chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will sponsor a genealogy workshop at the Fayette County Library Saturday, Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be sessions on census research, courthouse research, military records, etc. Representatives from the following organizations will be present to give information and advice on steps in finding and documenting ancestors: Children of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Revolution, Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and the Fayette County Historial Society.
