Brisk sales for upscale townhomes at SummerGrove

SummerGrove's upscale townhomes are off to a fast-selling start. The townhome model has only been open three months, and seven townhomes have been sold since the townhome development began.

Peggy Sullivan, vice president of marketing for Pathway Communities, the developer of SummerGrove, is not surprised by the pace. "Many people are looking for a low-maintenance lifestyle in an amenity-loaded setting, and the townhomes at SummerGrove provide that product to a relatively untapped market," said Sullivan.

Built by Homeland Communities and Hyland Developers, the SummerGrove townhomes border 100-acre Lake SummerGrove and range in price from the mid-$140s to the $190s. Floor plans include one and two-story units. All townhomes have attached, two-car garages and many feature daylight basements, garden courtyards and lake views.

In addition to the townhomes, SummerGrove offers a wide range of single family homes priced from the $130s to over $700,000. They range in style from traditional to turn-of-the-century to custom.

SummerGrove's amenity package plays an important role in distinguishing the community from other Atlanta-area neighborhoods. SummerGrove has an 18-hole, Golf Digest-ranked golf course, a 100-acre private lake, over five miles of pedestrian paths and sidewalks, two water venues including a competition-size swimming pool, water mushroom, lazy river ride and clubhouse, a tennis complex and a variety of neighborhood playgrounds.

For more information on the SummerGrove townhomes, call Sherry Hirsch at 770-683-4033. The SummerGrove Information Center is open Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-5 p.m and Sunday 1 p.m.-5 p.m. For more information, call 770-252-9000, or visit www.summergrove.com.

To visit SummerGrove from Atlanta, take I-85 South to Exit 47 (Newnan). Go left on Hwy. 34 one mile, and turn right on Shenandoah Blvd. SummerGrove is located at the intersection of Lower Fayetteville Road and Shenandoah Blvd.
