Fayette NAACP meets Sat. The Fayette County branch of the NAACP will meet Saturday, Dec. 14, at 3 p.m. at the Peachtree City Library. Agenda items include installation of newly elected officers, presentation of annual reports, and a Christmas social including a sampling of "soul food" prepared by members. "In order to address the issues and concerns of the people this NAACP branch was established to serve, we strongly encourage all members, ex-members and potential members to attend," said a spokesperson. "This meeting will be an opportunity to fellowship and get acquainted with your NAACP branch." The Peachtree City Library is adjacent to City Hall at 201 Willowbend Road.
