July 4th plans already in gear at Amphitheater

December is a great time to start planning for the Fourth of July weekend. The Swingin' Medallions will be leading the festivities in Peachtree City July 3, 2003 at the Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater beginning at 8 p.m.

The group's unique high-energy party style delights audiences of all ages. Their act, as well as their music, is indeed timeless.

The group is led by John McElrath, the group's founder. Today's Medallions have performed together for more than 15 years and includes John's two sons. Featuring a five-piece horn section, the group effectively blends the sounds and music of yesterday and today. Their diverse song list has made them overwhelmingly popular with college audiences as well as mature rock-and-rollers.

"Last year the Amphitheater sold out weeks before the concert, so don't wait," said Amphitheater Director Donna Romeo. "Now is the time to purchase that perfect stocking stuffer to be enjoyed by the entire family."

Tickets are currently on sale now and may be ordered by mail, phone, fax or by coming to the Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater Office at 191 McIntosh Trail in Peachtree City between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets are $18 each for adults and $12 each for children (12 and under), picnic tables which seat six (6) are available at $150 each. All seating, except for picnic tables are general admission, bring your family and join your neighbors as Peachtree City Celebrates the Fourth of July swinging with the Medallions.
