Two Fville visitors robbed at gunpoint

Two out-of-town visitors were robbed at gunpoint at a south Fayetteville residence late Friday night, according to police reports.

The two assailants are unknown, according to the report filed by the Fayetteville Police Department. They used a handgun and rifle on the victims, a 48-year-old man and a 14-year-old girl who live in Florida.

The assailants took the man's wallet, which contained $100 cash, a CD player, two video games and various CDs, according to the report.

The incident took place in the Paces Crossing subdivision between 10 and 11 p.m., the report states.
