Hughes named top New Neighbor for Nov. The Peachtree City chapter of the New Neighbors League Club selected Faye Hughes as the New Neighbor of the Month for November. The award was presented by NNLC President Mar-ce Bennett during the club's Nov. 7 meeting at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Faye, who relocated to Peachtree City from Ohio, received the award because she has served admirably on both the Subscriptions and Mailings and Prospective Membership committees. She has served as the Tours Chairperson as well as the Name Tags Chairperson. She has often opened her home for many club activities and is always willing to lend a helping hand. The New Neighbors League Club's purpose is to bring together newcomers in the area so that they may meet and become friends while adjusting to new surroundings. It is a not-for-profit social organization with a monthly meeting and a wide variety of special interest groups.
