Peachtree City Police have identified three suspects who stole over $5,000 worth of electronics from the new Wal-Mart Supercenter in late October.

The suspects, who live in the Griffin area, have extensive criminal records for aggravated assault, obstruction of a police officer, and drug violations, said Police Chief James Murray. They exited the store at the garden shop and threw the items over the fence, Murray said.

Stolen were eight video cameras and one digital camera, Murray added.

The suspects were caught on the store's video surveillance tape, Murray said.

The incident wasn't reported to police until a week after it occurred, the chief said.

Detectives planned to seek warrants for the suspects once they secured a final piece of evidence, Murray said Thursday morning.
