Coweta Christmas is Saturday

Two sisters of Alan Jackson have designed a Christmas tree decorated with memorabilia donated by Alan Jackson.

The tree includes one of a kind items, as well as fan club items. This tree will be auctioned during a silent auction in Newnan on Saturday.

His sisters are members of the Newnan Chapter (Chi Chapter) of Alpha Delta Kappa, an international honorary organization for women educators.

Alpha Delta Kappa will be hosting the fourth annual Coweta Christmas.

The event will be held at the First United Methodist Church Parish Hall.

The event will be open to the public and begins at 10 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m.

The event will feature:

Unique gift items from specialty vendors.

Professional photos with Santa.

Children's arts and crafts.

Decorated Christmas tree auction wreath and centerpiece auction.

Elementary choral groups.

All ADK proceeds will fund scholarships for a senior, at each Coweta County High School, planning to major in education.

An additional contribution will be made to the Community Welcome House, a battered women's shelter.
