Wednesday, November 13, 2002 NAMB adds consumer section to Web site In an effort to provide consumers with the most up-to-date financial information and resources, the National Association of Mortgage Brokers has added a "Consumer Focus" section to its Web site at www.namb.org. Consumer Focus highlights continually refreshed features including a monthly consumer economic update, a monthly consumer housing report, consumer-related articles, financial calculators, a comprehensive glossary of financing terms, checklists, and other resources and links to consumer oriented Internet sites. In addition to the Consumer Focus section, the NAMB Web site now also features a Reference Library, which provides a comprehensive glossary of financial terms and links to many additional financial resources. The National Association of Mortgage Brokers is the voice of the mortgage broker industry with more than 13,000 members and 46 affiliated state associations throughout the country. NAMB provides education, certification and governmental affairs representation for the mortgage broker industry, which originates more than half of all residential loans in the United States.
