Wednesday, November 13, 2002 Cypress Pointe nearly sold out Only three homes remain unsold in Cypress Pointe, a Starcraft Communities' 54-home community in Union City. Located on Church St., which runs off Flat Shoals Road, Cypress Pointe offers ranch and two-story homes priced from $109,900 to $127,900. Jim Adair, the managing partner of Starcraft Communities, has been involved in home building in the Atlanta area since 1986. Prior to that, he was a senior executive for national volume builders in Texas and California. His business associate in Starcraft Communities is Mike Massa, whose career also began in Texas and who later worked with large home building companies in the Atlanta area. Adair and Massa worked together in the Atlanta home building industry for several years before deciding to start Starcraft Communities. The company is also currently building Rose Court Place, a townhouse community in McDonough. Another Starcraft community, Walnut Creek in South DeKalb County, recently reached the "sold out" stage.
