Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty, the largest Coldwell Banker franchised company in Georgia, has named Rick Schlosser to head up the company's new Builder Services Division. The announcement was made by Steve Bullard, owner and president of Coldwell Banker Bullard, which is also the Metro South area's oldest and largest real estate company. As director of the Builder Services Division, Schlosser will work with each of the company's eight offices and will be available to support Bullard agents who have new home listings and are marketing new home communities. He will also work to establish new relationships with builders, developers and agents who specialize in marketing new home communities. At present, Coldwell Banker Bullard agents are involved in marketing 22 new home communities in the company's Metro South service area. A major goal of the new Builder Services Division is to increase the company's share of the new home sales market. Schlosser, who has been a Peachtree City resident since 1982, began his real estate career while a student at Northeastern University, where he graduated in 1971. First working with The Codman Company in Boston, he helped expand the company's residential division to the suburban Boston area and eventually to all of New England. He came to the Atlanta area in 1977 as sales and marketing manager for Rivermont, an Equitable Life Assurance-owned country club community in NorthFulton County. More recently, he has headed sales and marketing for Peachtree City Marketing Group and Peachtree City Development Corp., working in the Peachtree City market for 11 years, and he served as vice president of sales and marketing for Eagle's Landing Country Club in Henry County. In 1994, Schlosser founded his own company, Metrosouth Realty Inc., a real estate consulting firm focusing on rezoning, land planning, consulting and land acquisition in the Metro South area. The company has been working with the Lexington Circle project in Peachtree City. Coldwell Banker Bullard has offices in Jonesboro, Griffin, McDonough, Jackson, Peachtree City, Newnan and Barnesville with a total of approximately 265 agents. The company, founded in 1956, worked out a franchise agreement with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation a few years ago.
