County GOP rally Saturday The public is invited to attend a "Get Out The Vote" rally, sponsored by the Fayette County Republican Party, Saturday at 9 a.m. at Heritage Park at the county administrative complex in Fayetteville. "All of the Republican candidates for local, state and federal offices have been invited and we expect a number of them to be able to join us," said Lane Watts, chairman of the county GOP. "We want to encourage everyone to get out and vote Nov. 5 and also encourage everyone to attend the rally to show their support for our Republican ticket."
