Senate candidate to stop in PTC Wednesday

Republican U.S. Senate Candidate Saxby Chambliss will be at City Hall in Peachtree City Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. to meet and greet Fayette voters.

The stop is part of Chambliss' bus tour of the area which includes stops in other municipalities. He will be joined on the tour by U.S. Senators Trent Lott and John Warner and U.S. Congressmen Charlie Norwood and Jack Kingston.

Chambliss will square off against incumbent Democratic senator Max Cleland for the seat in the November general election.
