Authority member resigns for move By JOHN
MUNFORD
The Peachtree City Airport Authority will soon have a vacancy as member Mark H. Harris resigns effective Thursday, Nov. 14. In a letter to authority chairwoman Catherine Nelmes, Harris said he regretted having to resign, but he and his wife are planning to move out of town. "The airport, its people and facilities are first-class now but will only get better as time moves ahead," Harris wrote. "The group of people with whom I have had the opportunity to be associated on the authority represent the best of thoughtful, responsible and forward thinking public service." The five-member authority owns and operates Falcon Field. Its members are appointed by the Peachtree City City Council.
