Landmark gets a facelift
Landmark Christian School occupies the site of the former Campbell County High School in downtown Fairburn. The school is 1 1/2 miles from the I-85 Peachtree City/Fayetteville exit, attracting students from Fayette, Coweta, and S. Fulton counties. The 38-acre campus includes facilities for K4-12 classes, two stadiums, athletic fields, a synthetic track, gymnasium, science laboratories, music, art, and drama areas, and a media center. The main building of the school was built in 1929 and is a historic landmark. Landmark Christian School has renovated the school to offer students the full advantages of modern science and technology. Many of the 38 acres are undeveloped and offer Landmark many growth opportunities. Future development is being discussed and Landmark will be expanding its enrollment to 775 students in the 2003-2004 school year. There will be an Open House for families interested in learning more about Landmark Christian School on the evening of Homecoming, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m. Prospective families will enjoy a short program, a tour, and the Homecoming game of the 4-0 War Eagles.
