Fayetteville plans second LCI workshop

The city of Fayetteville will convene its second Livable Centers Initiative meeting Monday at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. The public is invited to attend this open forum.

The focus of the meeting will be to disclose the results of the first meeting held in August, and to begin to determine an action plan for the future of Fayetteville's downtown area. Results presented will include input that was given at the past meeting in the area of land use, transportation, sense of place and implementation.

The second planning session will also include group "planning stations" where participants will be asked to create their own vision of downtown Fayetteville, in the near and distant future. This will be a "hands-on" workshop led by Urban Collage, Inc.

For more information about the LCI workshop, contact city planning director Jahnee Prince or Main Street director Nancy Price at 770-461-6029.
