Events this year include: An open house at the historic courthouse from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A parade starting at 10 a.m. Arts, crafts, foods and concessions from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Festival coordinator Marian Johnson said this year's booths are some of the best in the festival's history. Entertainment at the festival starts at noon and features a variety of choices including line dancing, singers, the Doris Russell Dancers, and entertainment by the youth from Open Word Ministries. Historical displays in the courthouse all day long, including a quilt show. Special homecoming sales at all the downtown Fairburn merchants. For information, call Marian Johnson at 770-964-6734.
