Some roads closed next Saturday for Founders Day Tyrone Founders Day will be Tuesday through Saturday, Sept. 17-21. There will be lots of activities in conjunction with the carnival. There is the Tyrone Founders 5K at 8 a.m. on Sept. 21 and there is also a parade that day. During these events some of the local streets will be closed. Senoia Road, Castlewood Road, Briarwood Road, Palmetto-Tyrone Road, and Arrowwood Road will be closed between 7:45 and 8:45 a.m. Senoia Road will be closed from 1:45-3 p.m. for the parade. Please remember these closings when planning your Saturday activities. Better yet, please join your Tyrone neighbors in all the Founders Day fun. Please call Tyrone Town Hall with any questions.
