REALTOR Magazine, a publication by the National Association of Realtors, recently published its findings on the Top 100 Real Estate Companies in America. Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty has once again placed in the top half of this list. This is the third year REALTOR Magazine has compiled the Top 100, which ranks companies by total 2001 sales volume. With more than $1.6 billion in sales volume last year, Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty placed #46 on the list. Prudential companies as a whole had 16 firms placing in the top 100 list (up from 12 last year), giving Prudential the most representation of any national franchise real estate company. Being listed as one of the top 50 real estate companies from more than 61,000 different brokerage firms in the U.S. residential real estate industry, is something Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty's president and CEO, Dan Forsman, is very proud to share with his sales team. "The Atlanta real estate market is one of the most competitive in the country and yet, every year our hard-working and dedicated sales associates post record numbers." To remain competitive, Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty has gone to great lengths to stay on top of the technology being used to sell real estate today. The company's main Web site, www.prudentialgeorgia.com, has recently undergone a complete re-design to provide valuable new resources to home buyers and sellers. The site features expanded search options with detailed information on subdivisions, schools, and communities, with easy online access and the ability to save searches of favorite properties. Online viewers can also take advantage of a free, no obligation service to be notified daily, weekly, or monthly as new listings go on the market matching their specific criteria and price range. Every Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty sales associate has his/her own Web site with the same helpful features. "We firmly believe the Internet will not replace Realtors, but Realtors using the Internet will replace those agents who don't," Forsman commented. "Staying on top of technology trends and customers' demands for real-time information is our commitment. Our numerous alliances with respectable companies such as HomeBanc, ADT Security, and a home services company called Resale-ability, Inc. are additional ways we strive to stay ahead in the real estate industry and be more full service to our clients." Forsman's vision and planning is paying off. Four of his offices are proceeding with considerable expansion efforts this year, doubling the current capacity of those operations. Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty is an independently owned and operated member of Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, a full-service residential and commercial real estate network with offices throughout the United States and Canada. Operating in its 39th year, Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty has 25 offices and more than 900 sales associates throughout metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
