SummerGrove popularity prompts new neighborhoods

As SummerGrove continues its quest to become Atlanta's best-selling master-planned community, developer Pathway Communities announced it is adding four neighborhoods to meet consumer demand.

This new phase will consist of 233 homes priced from the $130s to upper $200s, ranging in style from traditional to turn-of-the-century.

Dan Camp, senior vice president and general manager at Pathway Communities, believes the new phase will have something for just about every level of buyer.

"SummerGrove's success has been the result of providing a range of choices for home buyers, complemented with a host of amenities and a top-notch builder team," said Camp. "And the new phase will have all of these elements including SummerGrove's third swimming venue and a neighborhood park."

Award-winning builders Kenny Johnson Homes and Jerry Ballard Homes will be the exclusive builders for Knoll Park at SummerGrove. Priced from the $180s to mid $200s, Knoll Park will have a blend of traditional and turn-of-the-century homes.

Sterling at SummerGrove, priced from the $120s to $150s, will feature traditional homes by Lee Troutman Homes. Troutman, a builder at SummerGrove since the community's inception, has built more than eighty homes at SummerGrove.

Brayson Homes, one of the most successful SummerGrove builders in 2002, has been selected as the featured builder for Bellaire at SummerGrove. Priced from the $130s to $160s, Bellaire will offer traditional homes with spacious floor plans.

Characterized by its traditional-style architecture, Tillbrooke at SummerGrove will have homes priced from the mid $100s by Prestigious Homes and Kenny Johnson Homes.

In addition to great builders, SummerGrove has one of the area's best amenity packages. The community features over five miles of walking trails and pedestrian paths, a 100-acre lake, a tennis complex with eight lighted courts, a competition-size swimming pool and an 18-hole, Golf Digest-ranked public golf course. Plus, the newly-opened SummerGrove water park features a lazy river ride, water sprays and a large water mushroom.

The community also offers a unique technology program, including structured wiring for every home, the potential for ultra-fast Internet access and Atlanta's first interactive community Intranet.

Homes at SummerGrove are priced from the $120s to over $700,000. To visit SummerGrove from Atlanta, take I-85 South to Exit 47 (Newnan). Go eft on Hwy. 34 one mile, and turn right on Shenandoah Blvd.
