Public hearing on bond issue for low income housing The Fulton County Office of Housing will hold a 7 p.m. public hearing September 11 on a proposed bond that would allow new owners to acquire and renovate Etheridge Court Apartments in Atlanta. The hearing, held at the Dogwood Neighborhood Senior Center, 1953 Bankhead Highway, NW, will be hosted by the Community and Housing Development Corporation. Russell New Urban Development LLC, acting on behalf of a proposed new ownership entity, Etheridge Court Redevelopment Partnership LP, a Georgia limited partnership, is seeking funds through bonds to be issued by the Housing Authority of Fulton County. The new group would set aside all of the units for persons of low to moderate income, as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Etheridge Court is located at 2500 Center Street, NW. The CHDC must recommend whether the Fulton County Board of Commissioners should endorse the bond issuance. For more information, call the Office of Housing at 404-730-8009.
