One Tyrone council seat up for grabs Election season in Tyrone this year will be relatively quiet, with only one contested race set for the November election. Incumbent Town Councilman Ronnie Cannon faces off against Mike Smola in the Post 1 race. Smola,50, is a finance manager at Delta Air Lines. The other two races drew no opposition.
