Dan Cathy speaks at Landmark
Dan Cathy, Chick-fil-A's president and chief operating officer, delivered an inspiring message to Landmark Christian School's class of 2003 during last Friday's Senior Convocation. He emphasized to the seniors the importance of developing disciplined habits in four areas of their lives mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual and stressed the value of spending time in the Bible daily. He also gave them a solemn warning that all of the things that can be achieved through mental, emotional, and physical discipline can be undone by compromising in spiritual discipline. Cathy offered the prayer that God would grow Landmark seniors to be visionary leaders. Landmark faculty, underclassmen, and parents of seniors also attended the convocation and enjoyed hearing the address, which Cathy concluded by playing a trumpet solo of "The Lord's Prayer."
