4-H hosts shooting this weekend

The Fayette County 4-H Shotgun Club will have its range open for clay target shooting, as a fundraiser, this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The range is located off Ga. Highway 85, about seven miles south of Fayetteville.

The cost is $5 per round of 25 targets or $10 per three rounds as an adult donation. High school and younger youth are $2.50 per round. The price does not include ammunition, which is available at the range for $5 per box of 25.

Eye and ear protection are required (available at the range). Shotguns and safety-trained adult coaches are available for free instruction. For more information, call the Fayette County Extension Service at 770-460-5730, ext. 5412.
