Oxford, Summit make a good team

A promotion currently underway in The Summit at Eagle's Landing gives overwhelming proof that new homeowners there are pleased with their builder, Oxford Homes.

"We are so proud of the customer service job being done at The Summit," said Stacey Irwin, broker for Custom Community Marketing, the company marketing the neighborhood's second phase. "Josh, our on-site agent there, told each purchaser that we would provide a small yard sign saying, 'I Love My Oxford Home.' The purchasers could choose to use the sign or not. We had 100 percent participation, which is unheard of! These buyers really do love their homes."

Only 20 homesites remain in the 85-home second phase of The Summit at Eagle's Landing, a neighborhood in the Eagle's Landing planned unit development in Henry County. Two more phases are upcoming in the 250-home neighborhood.

Located off Hwy. 42, The Summit offers homes priced from the $130,000s to the $180,000s, and six floorplans offered there include one-story, two-story and split foyer designs. Both three and four-bedroom plans are available, depending on whether the buyer prefers an extra bedroom or a bonus area.

The neighborhood's homes feature distinct design elements, and homebuyers have the opportunity to personalize such things as exterior colors, cabinets, flooring and exterior elevations. Sodded front yards and oak cabinets are standard, while brick or stucco accents can be added as desired.

The home builder, Gary Anderson of Oxford Homes, is a graduate of Georgia Tech with a degree in industrial management. He has been building homes for 30 years and is known for quality and attention to detail.

Amenities for resident of The Summit include a swimming pool, playground, ballfield, sidewalks on both side of streets, and streetlights. The area is served by Union Grove High School, Union Grove Middle School, and Hickory Flat Elementary School.

More information about The Summit can be obtained by calling Josh Irwin, the on-site agent in the neighborhood, at 770-914-1511 or by visiting the decorated and furnished model home. The model is open every day between 1-6 p.m., and homes can also be shown at other times by appointment.

Irwin is with Custom Community Marketing, a company which markets new homes in Henry County. The company's listings can be viewed on the internet at www.ccmrealestate.com.
