A cosmopolitan feel in a suburban setting

As Newnan and Coweta County continue to attract homebuyers from the Atlanta region because of its suburban setting, many home buyers are drawn to Newnan's Avery Park because it offers a cosmopolitan feel.

Characterized by its unique entry complete with lofts, businesses and a planned restaurant, Avery Park is unlike any community on Atlanta's southside.

In fact, Avery Park residents Lance and Donna Payne credit Avery Park's unique setting on their decision to move to the community.

"The Village Square commercial area creates a feeling for the community right from the start," said Lance Payne. "It automatically gives you the feeling that Avery Park is not just an average subdivision, but rather a community with a real destination."

Avery Park's appeal is not limited to its Buckhead-like appeal, more than 30 percent of the community is made up of open space and green belts.

Amenities include walking trails and pedestrian paths which connect residents to the Village Square, a competition-size swimming pool, tennis courts and a variety of community parks.

Homes are priced from the mid $100s to the $300s and range in style from turn-of-the-century to traditional to custom.

Avery Park is located on Highway 29 in Newnan. The Avery Park Information Center is open daily 11-5 and Sunday 1-5. For more information, call 770-252-9100 or visit www.averypark.com.
