A man posing as a customer at a health food store in Fayetteville ended up robbing the place after distracting a store clerk, according to police. The Fayetteville Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect via an artist's sketch made from a description of the suspect. The robbery occurred Aug. 1 at Natural Goodness Health Store on North Glynn Street between 5:30 and 6 p.m. The suspect, a black male in his mid thirties, asked the clerk for "bee pollen" and then put the clerk in a headlock, forcing her to the cash register where he took the money, police said. The suspect also pulled the phone lines from the wall and forced the clerk to the rear of the store, police said. He was last seen running from the store wearing a green tank top, khaki pants and running shoes. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Fayetteville Police Det. Bob Bautista at 770-461-4441.
