Two ways to take Hunter's Ed course

Don't let the excuse of not having a hunter education course keep you out of the woods this year. There are now two easy ways to take a course -the traditional classroom course or a CD-Rom hunter education course - according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division (WRD).

Ticket packages on sale for upcoming NAPA 500

With less than three months left until the new NAPA 500 weekend Oct. 25-27 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, there are three ways to see three great days of racing action. And as the last 88 days count down, the Atlanta Motor Speedway ticket office has extended its hours to accommodate the rush.

Basketball camp offered next week

The Peachtree City Recreation Department will be offering a Kedron Kids Basketball Camp at the Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center the week of August 5 through August 8, from 9:30- 1:00pm. This exciting Hoop Camp is for boys and girls ages 6- 11 who want to have fun and learn about basketball.
