Senoia's annexation efforts should be a hot topic of conversation at next week's County Commission meeting.

The city has petitioned Coweta County to annex 15 acres on Rockaway Road. The latest request comes on the heels of an annexation battle between the city and county that eventually would up in the Georgia Supreme Court.

In other issues, the county will:

Discuss paying the 2003 dues for the Chattahoochee-Flint Regional Development Center.

Listen to a recommendation from the planning department regarding Turin's annexation proposal of two parcels located along North Road.

Execution of contracts for intersection improvements to Old Carrollton Road and Ga. Highway 16, Poplar Road & Orr Road at Hwy. 16, Herring Road & Edgeworth Road at Ga. Highway 14.

Listen to a request from DOT to waive tipping fees for litter pickup on right-of-ways in Coweta County.

Request approval of proposal to perform study on six planned intersection improvements.

The meeting starts at 9 a.m. at the Coweta County Administrative Complex in Newnan.
