Festival planned for Welcome All Park

Residents in Fulton County have enjoyed county-managed parks and recreation facilities for 30 years.

To celebrate, the Parks & Recreation Department will host a festival and carnival July 31 at South Fulton's Welcome All Park, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Activities for the day will include sports clinics, games and prizes, carnival rides, clowns and magicians, and youth intramural activities.

Special games will be provided for youngsters age 7 and under. The Soccer in the Streets youth soccer program will also be on site with an interactive exhibit.

Residents can also sign up to perform on the talent stage. The event is free and open to the public.

Attendees may purchase refreshments from an on-site concession stand.

Fulton County Parks & Recreation staff will conduct sports clinics in swimming, golf, cricket, baseball, basketball, and diving.
