Another signature restaurant announces new PTC location Another unique restaurant offering is making its way to Peachtree City. Buckhead Brewery and Grill officials announced Wednesday that they plan to locate a restaurant at the entrance to Lexington Square, a new commercial, office and residential development on Highway 54 near Walt Banks Road. The restaurant will hopefully be open by the end of the year, according to company officials. Buckhead Brewery and Grill will offer a variety of entrees on its menu, including prime rib, steaks, fresh Copper River Salmon, Venison, Bison, Quail along with salads and sandwiches. Prices will range from $5.95 to $17.95. Unique appetizers will also be offered, including fried gator tail, buffalo fried shrimp and crab cakes. The company also recently won a silver medal at the World Beer Cup. The building will also differ somewhat from the usual restaurant fare: a cozy Aspen lodge atmosphere complete with log cabin architecture made from Wisconsin hardwood, rock fireplaces and antler fixtures. Buckhead Brewery and Grill, based in Atlanta, also has locations in Cumming, Alpharetta and Stockbridge in addition to a unit in Tallahassee, Fla. Three more Atlanta locations are planned to be running by the end of next year and another restaurant is planned to open in Charlotte, N.C., in early 2003. Company president Bruce Nicely said the site selection followed several months of studying the Peachtree City area. He added that the city's demographics were "very attractive to our concept."
